INSTRUCTIONS
Module Information Booklet (MIB)
For this project, we need to make a comic and the story could be from existing story or we make our own story. Mr. Hafiz recommended us to try short stories made by Edgar Allan Poe and I chose "Eleonora" from one of Poe's short stories.
Here is the summary of "Eleonora" story:
Eleonora is about the narrator and his life with his cousin and aunt in "The Valley of the Many-Coloured Grass". This valley is paradise and is filled with fragrant flowers, trees and a "River of Silence." The narrator, his aunt and his cousin remain very isolated in the valley for 15 years before the narrator and his cousin Eleonora fell in love. The narrator realised that Eleonora is very ill and she fears that when she dies he will leave the valley and find love in another. The narrator swears to her under the "Might Ruler of the Universe" to never love anyone else. However, when Eleonora dies, the valley becomes cold and desolate so the narrator decides to leave and go somewhere else. He meets a woman named Ermengarde and soon marries her. Soon after, Eleonora visits them from beyond the grave and grants them her blessings. She forgives him for breaking his vows to never marry another claiming that her reasons for forgiving him "shall be made known to thee in Heaven."
For this comic, we need to make at least 2-3 transitions from 6 transitions provided in the Google Classroom.

Transitions
For my comic, I chose "subject to subject", "scene to scene" and "moment to moment".

Eleonora Sketch
Subject to Subject:
Narrator (I named him Edgar) met Eleonora and soon they got married.
Scene to Scene:
Edgar brought Eleonora to hospital, enjoying their last moments together before Eleonora dies and Edgar in front of Eleonora's tomb.
Moment to Moment:

First Attempt
But when I showed this to Mr. Hafiz and Mr. Kannan, they said that I need more panels to describe the story. The panels were going too fast and what I didn't isn't comic but more to graphic novel. So, I add other comic panels for my second attempt of the comic and try to reduce the dialogue to make it a little bit more to comic.

Final Outcome of Eleonora Story
And this is the final outcome of my comic. I learned that the point of making comic was to make readers understand what was going on and graphics are somehow like a plus for a comic, because readers always wanted good stories with good graphics in a comic.
