RESEARCH PLANNING IMPLEMENTATION

QUALITATIVE RESEARCH

22.05.19 (Week 8) - 12.06.19 (Week 11)

22.05.19 (Week 8)

For this week, it was holiday again so I did research implementation online by uploading it in Google Drive folders and only need to wait for feedbacks.

29.05.19 (Week 9)

For this week, I already made the slides for qualitative research, as well as possible questions for interview as I was doing 2 methods of research: visual analysis and email interview.

05.06.19 (Week 10)

Still waiting for responses from email interviewees.

12.06.19 (Week 11)

I told Dr. Hayati that I have only got one reply from the email interview out of 2 emails that I have sent. Dr. Hayati then recommended me to several specialists in animation and told me to interview them. I have sent email interview to 8 people in total.

19.06.19 (Week 12) - 26.06.19 (Week 13)

I made a conclusions for the 3 responses of my email interview and my visual analysis to prepare for the final presentation.

Here is my qualitative research:

QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH

05.06.19 (Week 10) - 26.06.19 (Week 13)

As I was still waiting for my email interview that I have sent to 2 specialists, I also made questionnaire because I was scared the information that I will get not sufficient enough. Dr. Hayati approved of the questionnaire and she told me to try sending it to the people, as I told her the purpose of this quantitative research is for general society.

12.06.19 (Week 11)

Still waiting for responses for the questionnaire.

19.06.19 (Week 12)

Dr. Hayati asked me how much respond I have got for the questionnaire and I told her that currently I only have 18 responses. Dr. Hayati then advised me to get at least a minimum of 80 responses until the end of this week.

I did some revision for my questionnaire as I received feedback from the people I asked to fill the survey, that I need to add more details on the questions.

26.06.19 (Week 13)

I got 81 responses for my questionnaire.

Here is my quantitative research:

DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS

26.06.19 (Week 13)

Here is my final data collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative research:

FEEDBACKS

22.05.19 (Week 8)

Since I was doing the draft in Google Docs, Dr. Hayati told me to move them into Google Slides.

29.05.19 (Week 9)

Dr. Hayati said the possible questions for the interview are all fine and I should start sending them as soon as possible with the email draft that is downloadable in Times.

05.06.19 (Week 10)

Dr. Hayati said that I could send the questionnaire as it was fine and seems could be answered by general people.

12.06.19 (Week 11)

When I told Dr. Hayati that I have only sent the email interview to 2 specialists and only got 1 respond, she gave me lists of specialists for me to send email interview to them as well, because she said I need to send more in order to find the answers that might help me in my research.

19.06.19 (Week 12)

I told Dr. Hayati that I only have 18 responses for my quantitative research and she told me to have more until minimum 80 responses. She said that 18 wouldn't be enough and try to get as much answers as possible.

26.06.19 (Week 13)

Dr. Hayati was quite satisfied when I told her I made progress from 18 responses to 60 responses, and 60 responses until 81 responses for my quantitative research.
